Bus Ministry Pictures
Good ol' bus ministry
I am a bus captain at Trinity Baptist Church. Here we are still picking up
kids. I am leading the kids in singing a song called "Good News" (It is about the
crucifixion of Jesus, it is good news that he died for us).

I made an ugly clown
This was a special promotion where we had to come up with something to do. We
decided to dress up as clowns on the way home (we lacked supplies a little).

We gave 'em balloons
The other part of our promotion was we gave each one an animal balloon. This
is kind of hard because it takes time, nobody can make up their mind, and
everyone wants another balloon (thiers popped, I wanted another, I want a
scorpion *grr*).

Jimmy with some kids
This is a picture of Jimmy Baldwin, one of my helpers, posing with Sabastion,
Jessica, and their cat Sasha. This was during our weekly visitation on Saturday.

Jimmy again
Jimmy once again with more of our bus kids during visitation.

Going to Neighborhood Bible Time
This is actually from my second summer traveling Neighborhood Bible Time. We
ran several bus routes picking up children for our practice rallies.

The young crowd
These are some of my younger kids that rode my bus route at Trinity Baptist
Church.

Kiree's Grin
Kiree is another one of my bus kids. Jimmy Baldwin is the one sleeping in the
background.

Neighdorhood Bible Time
Doing some mingling
This is after one of our teen rallies during our training at NBT. You can
notice three of the evangelists in the background (wearing their ropes).

Playing at our "Destination Unknown"
This was the teen Destination Unknown for our NBT training. We take all the
teens someplace unknown to them and play a lot of sports games.

Laying down at the DU
Some lazy teenagers doing what they do best, laying down.

Girls playing volley ball
We split up the girls and the boys at the DU. The girls played volley ball
while the boys played football. Then we switched.

More volley ball
Yet another picture like the last.

Guys playing volley ball
Now the girls are playing football and the guys are playing volley ball.

NBT registration
Here is registration at our practice ralley for the kids. The evangelists are
the ones in dress shirts and ties. We were entertaining the kids and made many of
them balloon hats while they were waiting.

Teen Decorations
Here is one of the decorations one of the churches made for me. Our teen
program my second year was called "Country Feud." They decorated the place with
hay bales, flowers, and other themed items.

Baptist Youth Mission
Playing with our floater ball
BYM provided me with a floater ball to play with. We were playing Big Ball
Soccer. This is actually the only time the whole summer I played this game with
a floater ball because it could actually be popped. Since our group was small
(and girls too) I figured it would be ok.

More Big Ball Soccer
My EIT (Evangelist-in-training) Andy took several pictures of us playing the
game.

Yet another big ball picture
You can tell the floater ball at this time has begun to lose quite a bit of
air. The only lasted about 5 to 10 minutes before they had to be filled up again.

So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:14-15
